Your Next Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking for long-term job stability either on a full-time or casual basis. You will be well-supported in a team of five, where you each take on a project from start to finish, so you are able to see the results of your labour and take ownership and pride in our work.

This is not your average cabinetry role! No two days are the same at Design Quintessence - you will be assembling and joining various laminated plywood products for a wide variety of live entertainment and other industry clients to ensure their equipment is stored and transported safely.

Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Interpreting Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings 
  • Operating hand tools
  • Assembling custom design and builds (plywood)

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Although previous experience in a cabinet assembly or joinery role will be highly regarded, we also encourage candidates with a working knowledge of these processes without professional experience to apply. 

Although professional experience in a cabinet assembly role is not essential, you must be comfortable using a variety of hand tools to be considered for this position.

Other requirements include:

  • A knowledge of best practices with regard to workplace health and safety
  • A keen eye for quality craftsmanship and detail
  • The ability to multi-task and stay organised when faced with competing priorities
  • Ability to identify and assemble parts in order to build new (or modify existing) road/flight cases
  • A great sense of humour!
